When we arrived at the Taj Bekal Resort we were greeted with a garland made up of shells and a teeka on the forehead. When seeing our private pool villa we were truly overwhelmed and stunned by how great it was. The unique rooms are designed with architecture inspired by Kettuvallam house boats and features modern amenities. Many of the villas and suites have spectacular in-room plunge pools. So you will have a pool reserved only for you! The property is located within 3 minutes walk from a fantastic beach and the scenic Kappil River flows through the resort. Breathtakingly beautiful resort, located along the fantastic Kovalam Beach. Offering some of the very best suites and villas with private pool in Kerala. We really fell in love in this place and the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the lagoon. The entire staff - from the front office to housekeeping are very helpful and service-minded. For example they serve a spectacular evening high tea everyday. Be sure not to miss it as you have a great view of the sunset while enjoying your tea! But in our opinion the absolute highlight are the suites that come with your very own infinity plunge pool. Perfect if you want to be able to take a swim whenever you want!
