Three bungalows. Five acres of tropical beachfront. A private path to Mission Beach from each one. Sounds pretty good, right? Every freestanding bungalow features a king bed, kitchenette, covered deck and its own private plunge pool looking through the greenery towards the Coral Sea and Family Islands. There’s no restaurant on-site, but The Elandra is only a five-minute drive away when self-catering loses its appeal. However, we’d be far more interested in reef trips, rainforest walks and seeing just how many times a day it’s reasonable to wander between pool and beach.
