Grand Rotana Resort & Spa is one of our favorite options in Sharm El Sheikh for families or groups looking for a genuinely spacious private-pool stay. The standout choices are the huge four- and five-bedroom Royal Villas, which feel more like private holiday homes than hotel rooms. Each comes with a private swimming pool and its own lush garden, along with generous living and dining areas and a full kitchen. We particularly like how you can enjoy all the privacy of a villa while still having the restaurants, beach, pools and services of a large resort just outside. The setting in Shark’s Bay is beautiful, with views towards the Red Sea, and there is plenty of space to spend entire days around your own pool. We would especially recommend Grand Rotana for larger families or groups who want a luxurious resort without having to share every swim with other guests.
