Paralos Kyma Dunes had us at “sand dunes and cedar forest”. This adults-only design hotel sits right on Mastichari Beach, with just 48 rooms and suites arranged around two pools and the sea beyond. Some rooms offer private outdoor jacuzzis, while the swim-up categories open directly onto shared lagoon pools – worth knowing when choosing your room. Dunes Restaurant focuses on Greek and Mediterranean flavours, and there’s also a heated indoor pool, gym and massage treatments.
