Pool straight outside the terrace, pizza from a wood-fired oven and Rhodes sunshine – Lydia Maris keeps the holiday formula pleasantly simple. Set among lush gardens in Kolymbia, the all-inclusive resort has a large central pool, spa, tennis, entertainment and plenty for younger guests. The most tempting accommodation for us is the swim-up rooms and suites, giving direct or easy access to a shared pool from your veranda. Greek grills, themed dinners and that pizzeria take care of the food, while Tsambika and Afandou beaches are within easy reach.
