Elements of Caldera is our kind of Santorini secret: only 12 suites, far from Oia’s busiest lanes and overlooking the caldera from peaceful Akrotiri. The Deluxe, Executive and Elements Suites have private swimming pools, while the remaining suites come with heated tubs. There’s also a main pool, Mediterranean restaurant and – our favourite little twist – an open-air sunset cinema under the stars. Red Beach and ancient Akrotiri are nearby when you feel energetic.
