Few Santorini hotels make the Caldera feel quite as dramatic as San Antonio. Carved into the volcanic cliffs between Imerovigli and Oia, this tiny 30-room hideaway is all about silence, views and romance. Breakfast overlooking the Aegean is a highlight, as is the gorgeous infinity pool seemingly suspended above the sea. The cave-like spa and intimate Cliff Side Restaurant add to the atmosphere, while the Honeymoon Suite comes with a private hot tub. We would recommend San Antonio especially for couples who want to escape the crowds – but note that it does not currently offer rooms with true private swimming pools.
