Under the Sun feels as though someone carved a tiny Cycladic village into a wild Tinos hillside and then decided not to tell too many people about it. Hidden between Kardiani and Isternia, the stone-built suites look across an wonderfully empty landscape towards the Aegean. The Junior, Signature and larger two-bedroom suites feature private mini jetted pools, perfect for watching the island’s spectacular sunsets. There’s also a main pool, massages and breakfast delivered with minimum fuss. We’d bring a book, switch the phone to silent and see just how little we can achieve in three days.
