Gili Trawangan can be lively, but having your own little pool retreat makes it easy to enjoy both sides of the island. The Beach House sits right by the sea and within easy reach of restaurants and island life, yet some suites hide a private plunge pool behind their walls. We particularly like the combination of modern comfort and that wonderfully informal Gili atmosphere – shoes become optional very quickly here. Spend the morning snorkeling, then disappear back to your pool for the afternoon.
