Some Maldives resorts make choosing between beach and overwater ridiculously difficult. At Kuda Rah, both come with excellent pool options: Beach Pool Villas sit steps from the sand, while Overwater Pool Villas pair lagoon access with a private pool on the deck. Larger duplex villas and overwater residences give families plenty of room too. The island itself is intimate, with just 51 villas and suites, two restaurants, a spa, diving centre and watersports. South Ari Atoll is famous for its marine life, so don’t spend every hour in the pool – tempting though that may be.
