The clue is in the name: in the Caribbean, “liming” means mastering the art of doing absolutely nothing – and this is an excellent place to practise. Hidden away at Adams Bay, The Liming is a tiny villa resort surrounded by sea, greenery and very little else. Its nine one- and two-bedroom villas each come with a private infinity pool and ocean views, while the Junior Suite swaps the pool for a private hot tub. There’s a secluded beach, private marina, tennis and Caribbean-inspired dining at The Liming Restaurant. For something spectacular, Gingerlily Mansion House has five bedrooms and its own plunge and freshwater pools. Shoes optional, diary empty – that’s pretty much the idea.
