About

North Island is the kind of place that makes almost every other private-island resort feel busy. There are just 11 enormous villas scattered along the beach, each hidden behind tropical vegetation with direct access to the sand and its own private plunge pool. We love the barefoot approach here: no rigid dining times, private picnics can be arranged on Honeymoon Beach and dinner can happen almost anywhere on the island. There’s also a spa, diving, kayaking and a serious conservation programme involving turtles and native wildlife. If complete privacy is the dream, this is about as close as it gets.
