This little Vipava Valley stay is much more about wine than hotel facilities – and that’s exactly its charm. There are only three rooms and one apartment in the village of Dobravlje, with breakfasts built around local produce and tastings available at the family’s wine cellar in nearby Slap. Two rooms have their own saunas, while the apartment is the treat we’d choose: it adds a terrace, sauna and
private whirlpool for two to four guests. No giant resort, no buffet queues – just Slovenian wine, countryside and a very good excuse to spend the evening in a hot tub.
