Small, romantic and wonderfully personal, Tulia is a very different proposition from Zanzibar’s big all-inclusive resorts. There are only 16 bungalows and villas tucked beside Pongwe’s white-sand beach, yet you still get a True All Inclusive concept, à la carte dining, complimentary yoga, kayaks, paddleboards and even a first massage included. The Royal Garden Villa hides a private pool behind lush greenery, while the Seafront Luxury Villa pairs its own pool with direct Indian Ocean views.
