Xanadu Villas & Retreat is hands down one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and probably the best in Zanzibar right now. The combination of lush, tropical gardens, winding pathways, and outstanding accommodations immediately made us feel like we were in paradise. We stayed in one of the beachfront villas with a private pool, and we can’t even begin to describe how magical it was. Just picture yourself waking up to the sound of the ocean, taking a morning dip in your own plunge pool surrounded by greenery - and then lounging on the sun bed with absolutely no interruptions.
